Lifesaver 101 Course Outline

CPR LEVEL HCP + AED WALK-IN CLINIC

WALK-IN CLINICS ARE SUSPENDED DUE TO THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC. PLEASE USE THE BLENDED FORMAT AS DESCRIBED ON OUR HOME PAGE UNTIL THE PANDEMIC PASSES.

NOTE: No pre-registration for the Walk-In Clinic. Doors open at 5:30pm for registration and class starts at 6pm. The course fee at the Walk-In is payable in cash only.

This program is geared towards Health Care Providers and is always taught at the HCP certification level.

 IF YOU REQUIRE AN N95 MASK FIT TEST YOU MUST ARRIVE AT 5:30PM. WE MUST COMPLETE ALL MASK FITS BEFORE THE CPR COURSE STARTS AT 6PM.


FEE:  $50 ($44.25 + $5.25 HST)

N95 FIT TESTING is an additional $30.

Our unique CPR Level HCP+ AED Walk-in Clinic offers Lifesaver 101 participants with the same enthusiastic, fun and effective approach to CPR training we are known for.  The difference is preregistration is not required!!  Simply show up at our training facility at the scheduled time and grab a seat!!  Refer to our online calendar for dates and times.

This is a 3 hour program and is valid for 3 years although Lifesaver 101 recommends that participants renew their CPR certification on an annual basis.  All participants will be provided with a certificate upon successful completion of the program.

PROGRAM CONTENTS INCLUDE:

  • Learn to manage an emergency medical situation using the Lifesaver 101 Rules of 123 & ABC.
  • Discuss reasons people may be hesitant to administer CPR such as personal safety, legalities and lack of training.
  • Recognize and treat shock.
  • Recognize and treat heart attack and stroke.
  • Use the Lifesaver 101 Survival Links to manage a cardiac emergency.
  • Administer Adult, Child and Infant CPR.
  • Recognize and treat unconscious choking.
  • Use an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) on Adults, Children and Infants.
  • Recognize and treat conscious choking for Adult, Children and Infants.
  • Team rescue CPR & AED.
  • Administer Health Care Provider techniques.
