This very informative and interesting program consists of the following topics:
1. An introduction of program content and objectives
2. A posted agenda
3. EMS (Emergency Medical Services)
4. Legalities
5. EAP (Emergency Action Plan)
6. Safety first
7. Communicable diseases.
Participants shall learn the A B C s and examine their role as an important link in the Chain of Survival. Trainees will engage in hands-on practice after a brief description of ‘Human Anatomy 101,’ followed by demonstrations for both adult and child CPR.
Other compulsory modules include Emergency Scene Management and response protocol for casualties who are choking and rendered unconscious, or are found unconscious. Wounds and bleeding will be examined, and a testing component shall conclude the compulsory modules.
Each training program will be customized specifically for group and individual needs. Non-compulsory topics can be selected from the list of options available as part of our comprehensive Standard First Aid and CPR program.
Written test
PLEASE NOTE: There is no special program for Standard First Aid and CPR recertification. However, in terms of both time and content, this 6.5-hour (1 day) Emergency First Aid and CPR program is equivalent to a Standard First Aid and CPR recertification.
